The rally marked the 115th anniversary of the first car race in Russia, which was held in the suburb of Strelna, where the palace is located, in 1898.

The rally featured rare vehicles from all over the world, manufactured in the 1930-60s, including a 1961 Austin Healey, a 1941 Cadillac Convertible, a 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible, a 1930 Hispano-Suiza, a 1959 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, and others.

The vehicles were provided by Staroye Vremya (Old Time) company, which for more than seven years has been bringing together aficionados of vintage cars and is a leader in the sale and servicing of classic cars.
