MOSCOW, June 1 (RIA Novosti) - A policeman in the Siberian city of Omsk was accused of allegedly shooting a local pensioner from a non-lethal gun after both of them argued over a playground swing, the Investigative Committee said in a statement.
According to investigators, a 30-year-old policemen, working for a local K-9 department, was on a walk with his son, when he began quarrelling with a 63-year-old pensioner with his granddaughter at children’s playground.
Both of them allegedly argued over whose child was to take a ride at a playground swing, when the policemen shot the pensioner in the stomach from a non-lethal gun, the committee said.
The pensioner was taken to a hospital, where he underwent an operation. Investigators opened a criminal case against the policemen.
