At high noon, Kremlin Regiment servicemen arrived at the square carrying the Russian state flag. A display of their weapon-handling skills opened the event.

Children’s Equestrian Ceremonial Division cadets, dressed in Honorable Escort Cavalry uniforms, riding ponies. They circled several times and performed various formation changes.
A Cossack squadron wearing traditional uniforms concluded the show with a display of their swordsmanship and riding proficiency.
