YEREVAN, June 6 (RIA Novosti) – Armenia's military universities will open their doors to female students for the first time this year as part of the country’s education reform program, the Defense Ministry’s press office said on Thursday.
“Females who have reached the age of 18 and have no health problems may enroll. Applicants must submit a state maths and physics exam certificate,” the Defense Ministry said.
Female applicants will be allowed to enroll at the Vazgen Sargsyan Defense Institute and the Marshal Khanferyants Aviation Institute.
“The reforms will contribute to strengthening the fighting efficiency of the Armed Forces and public trust,” Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Ovanisyan wrote on his Facebook page.
