MOSCOW, June 6 (RIA Novosti) - The wife and a child of a journalist in southwestern Siberia's Kemerovo Region were hospitalized after unknown arsonists set his apartment on fire, the local authorities said on Thursday.
“The door to journalist Rostislav Bardokin's apartment was doused with gasoline and set on fire today at 4:00 a.m. [1:00 a.m. Moscow time]… Rostislav extinguished the fire, however, smoke filled his apartment,” the authorities said in a statement.
Bardokin’s wife and child were taken to a hospital after suffering smoke inhalation.
