ST. PETERSBURG, June 21 (RIA Novosti) – The St. Petersburg administration has signed investment agreements worth 130 billion rubles ($4 billion) at the international economic forum that the northern capital is currently hosting, the governor said Friday.
“This is significantly more than last year,” Governor Georgy Poltavchenko said, adding that the previous sum was 91 billion rubles ($2.8 billion).
He also praised the forum’s atmosphere as “businesslike and dynamic.”
