SARATOV, June 25 (RIA Novosti) - Thirty-seven vehicles collided in the southern Russian city of Saratov, the regional emergencies services reported Tuesday.
“Seventeen people were injured, nine of them were hospitalized, and four have already been discharged from hospital,” an emergencies service spokesman told RIA Novosti.
The accident occurred on Monday evening and involved two trucks, two buses, two minivans and 31 cars. It was probably caused by brake failure in one of the trucks.
