MOSCOW, July 27 (RIA Novosti) – Moscow Region police have uncovered an illegal workshop with some 200 Vietnamese workers making counterfeit sports clothes, officials said on Thursday.
The police raided the factory in the town of Noginsk, east of Moscow, on Wednesday, discovering a clandestine production-line for fake brand-name sportswear. The Vietnam workers were living and working at the workshop, the police said.
The workers were taken to a police station. An investigation has been launched to identify the building’s owner and tenant.
