MOSCOW, July 3 (R-Sport) - Russia striker Alexander Kokorin is to leave Dynamo Moscow for big-spending Anzhi Makhachkala to win silverware and earn more money, Dynamo chairman Vasily Titov said Wednesday.

Kokorin gave his formal approval at a board meeting Wednesday as the final step in a deal that meets a release clause in his contract, Titov suggested.

“Kokorin’s current contract has a provision to buy it out upon the receipt of the written desire of a particular club,” Titov said. “The consent of Kokorin himself is necessary for a transfer. We received that consent today.”

The Dynamo board cannot block the transfer, he added.

Kokorin, who has amassed 13 caps for Russia, wanted to leave “to realize his sporting ambitions and for more favorable financial conditions,” Titov said.

Anzhi chairman Konstantin Remchukov has said the transfer is “expensive” but not more than the 20 million euro sum cited in Russian media.

Kokorin, 22, who can play up front or on the left wing, has scored 19 goals in 113 games for Dynamo since 2008.
