WASHINGTON, July 8 (RIA-Novosti) – Zaza Pachulia, a Georgian national and 10-year veteran of the US professional National Basketball Association (NBA), has reached a $15 million, three-year deal with The Milwaukee Bucks, USA Today reported.
Citing “a person with direct knowledge of the agreement,” USA Today reported that Pachulia was leaving the Atlanta Hawks, where he has spent the past eight seasons playing as a power forward/center.
Pachulia averaged 5.9 points and 6.5 rebounds playing for the Hawks last season, which came to a premature finish when he required surgery for an injury, USA Today reported.
Pachulia has also developed ties in local business in Atlanta, opening a French-style bistro, “5th Street Café” and the “Buckhead Bottle Bar.” His new contract marks a return to the Milwaukee Bucks, for whom he played in 2004-05.
