WASHINGTON, July 11 (RIA Novosti) – The gutsy wife of renowned Russian sculptor Ernst Neizvestny told a mugger pointing a gun at her chest that he didn’t have the nerve to shoot her, The New York Daily News reported.
Anna Graham, 54, said that at 1 a.m. EDT, July 3, she was smoking a cigarette in front of her New York City apartment building when two muggers approached, demanding her wallet. When Graham, who was watching a car for friends, pointed out that she was in her pajamas, one of the thieves pressed a gun to her head and then her chest, while his accomplice ordered him to shoot.
“I said, ‘It’s not easy to shoot someone. You have to have b---s to do that. And you have none,’” the paper reported Graham as saying.
When Graham’s friend emerged to dial 911 the thieves fled. They remain at large, the paper reported.
