MOSCOW, July 16 (RIA Novosti) – Gazprom has announced a $3.7 million tender to create an Apple iOS-based tablet computer for its CEO Alexei Miller, the company said on Tuesday.
The tender, worth up to 119.748 million rubles, requires development of a mobile automated workplace for the Gazprom boss, providing him with information support for managerial decision-making, regardless of access to the normal workplace.
The gadget must be based on the functionality of the company’s static computers and should allow the user to access Gazprom’s corporate data storage system, as well as being capable of processing commercially secret data.
The mobile device should be capable of working seven days a week and 24 hours round the clock. Gazprom says the system must be developed within 206 days and be tested within another 25 days.
Bids will be accepted from July 15 through July 22, when envelopes containing bids will be opened, Gazprom said.
