MOSCOW, July 21 (RIA Novosti) - A blast rocked the Beijing International Airport on Saturday night after a handicapped man set off explosives on him, Xinhua news agency reported.
The agency said citing police that a wheelchair-bound Chinese man set off a self-made explosive device at 6:24 p.m. local time outside the arrivals exit of the Terminal 3.
The explosion did not injure anyone else besides the handicapped man, who was taken to a hospital, the agency said.
Police launched an investigation into the blast at the airport, which is one of the most important, largest, and busiest international aviation hubs, known as “China Gateway.”
