A business rival ordered the January 30 murder of Yakov Khanin, 68, as part of a dispute over downtown offices in the Siberian city, according to a local police website statement.

The killers were detained in late July, and the man who ordered the murder detained in early August as he was preparing to leave Russia, police said.
