PSKOV, August 17 (RIA Novosti) – Six people died in a fire in a non-residential building in the northwest Russian city of Pskov on Friday night, the Emergencies Ministry said Saturday.
The fire broke out in the early hours of Saturday morning in a two-story non-residential building, and was put out by firefighters shortly after 8 a.m. The bodies of six people were found at the scene.
“Five men and a woman died, all of whom were middle-aged,” a regional police spokesperson told RIA Novosti. “It has been preliminarily established that they were all homeless.”
The identities of those who died in the fire and the cause of the blaze are being investigated.
