MOSCOW, August 20 (RIA Novosti) – An elderly man in provincial Belarus burned to death in a wooden outhouse last weekend after going there to “smoke,” local media reported Monday.
The victim, whose name was withheld, was a resident of the town of Pinsk, in southern Belarus, and was born in 1954, Belnovosti.by reported, citing emergency services.
The outhouse was a meter and a half by four meters, the report said. It did not say why the victim did not notice the fire in time to escape.
