Court bailiffs in central Russia have seized a portrait of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev from a businessman who owed a considerable amount of money to his creditors, the local Federal Bailiffs Service said Monday.

KIROV, September 2 (RIA Novosti) – Court bailiffs in central Russia have seized a portrait of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev from a businessman who owed a considerable amount of money to his creditors, the local Federal Bailiffs Service said Monday.

When bailiffs in the city of Kirov arrived at the man’s home they found almost no “liquid property” as he had hidden or moved out the most valuable items, the service said, without specifying when the seizure took place.

In addition to the Medvedev picture, bailiffs seized a clock and a gold ring.

The items will be auctioned off but are unlikely to pay off the entire debt, the department said, but did not specify the amount in question.
