On August 30, the Russian Knights aerobatic team conducted test flights of the new multifunctional Su-30SM fighter.

The Swifts aerobatic team performs a wide range of aerobatic maneuvers, including formations such as the pyramid, the hammer, the star, the arrow, the cross and the wing.

Yak-130 is the first completely new aircraft (not just an upgraded version of a previous plane) designed in post-Soviet Russia. Specialists call it “the most intelligent aircraft that does not need armor.”

The Russian Falcons showed combat maneuvers at low altitudes. This aerobatic demonstration team of the Russian Air Force is known for solitary and collective performances with fourth-generation Su-27 fighters.

The Swifts and the Russian Knights aerobatic teams also performed highly demanding maneuvers with their five Su-27s and four MiG-29s.

As per tradition, the Swifts and the Russian Knights performed the famous Kuban Diamond formation, with all nine aircraft making one huge rhombus.

On August 27, three of the newest Sukhoi T-50 fighters were demonstrated as part of the MAKS flight program.

Chinese pilots made their debut at this year’s MAKS airshow. It was the first time that China’s August 1st aerobatic team has shown their exquisite piloting skills outside the people’s republic.
