MOSCOW, September 5 (RIA Novosti) – Mail.Ru Group, one of Russia’s biggest Internet companies, has sold its remaining 0.52 percent stake in Facebook, Digit.ru reported Thursday.
The company said it had sold 14.2 million Facebook shares, worth more than 525 million rubles, in July and August. The buyer was not disclosed.
Mail.Ru has been selling its stakes in foreign companies since May 2012. Late last October, the company sold Facebook shares worth about $370 million at that time. The company announced another sale of Facebook stock in early November.
