The K-150 Tomsk, a Project 949A Antei nuclear-powered attack submarine, caught fire on Monday as it was undergoing maintenance operations at a dock in Russia’s far eastern Primorye Territory. No one was injured in the fire, and there is no danger of a radioactive leak.
The submarine was laid down in 1991 at the Sevmash shipyard in Severodvinsk and commissioned in 1997.
