NEW DELHI, September 22 (RIA Novosti) – At least 43 people have been killed and another 70 wounded in twin explosions outside a church in the Pakistani city of Peshawar, the Pakistani newspaper Dawn reported Sunday.
People attending Sunday mass started coming out of the church in the city's Kohati Gate district when the blast occurred. The victims of the blast included children and women, local health officials said.
Two suicide bombers, who had six kilograms of explosives in their vests, had carried out the attack, the report said citing police.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
Earlier reports on Sunday said 25 people were killed and 55 people wounded.
