The Omsk 2013 international arms exhibition opened on October 2. It featured live demonstrations of Russian defense tech at paratroopers’ training center number 242.
A model of Klimov RD-33 turbofan engine commonly used in Russian fighter jets, on display at the Kontinent Expocenter during the international defense tech show in Omsk.
The arms show also featured equipment and technologies Russia uses in developing the Arctic, Siberia and Far East, the Omsk Region Industry Ministry said in a statement.
