NALCHIK, October 10 (RIA Novosti) - A judge and a businessman from Chechnya were discovered killed on Wednesday near a highway in Russia’s volatile southern republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, a spokesman for the local investigation committee said.
The spokesman said that the people were discovered in a ditch with gun wounds in their bodies and heads. They were identified as Adam Agakhadzhiyev, a judge from Chechnya, and Isa Atayev, a Chechen businessman.
“According to our information, they were heading from Chechnya to the city of Yessentuki in the Stavropol Territory,” the spokesman said adding that a criminal case was launched on murder charges.
He also said that both of them were reported missing on Tuesday.
