Two men, said to be Russians, have spent nearly $210,000 in total during a three-hour contest to see who could produce the biggest bill in an exclusive London nightclub, UK media reported on Thursday.

MOSCOW, October 11 (RIA Novosti) – Two men, said to be Russians, have spent nearly $210,000 in total during a three-hour contest to see who could produce the biggest bill in an exclusive London nightclub, UK media reported on Thursday.

The Embassy nightclub in London did not disclose the identity of the visitors, but The Telegraph identified the two men as “Russian multimillionaires” in their 30s.

"These two guys were competing with each other to buy more and more champagne each time one would buy five bottles the other would order six, then seven, then eight,” The Telegraph quoted an onlooker as saying.

The men, who arrived just before midnight, racked up bills of 66,778.91 British pounds (over $106,600) and 64,279.70 British pounds (over $102,600) by ordering dozens of bottles of vintage champagnes, as well as high-end whisky and vodka.

The two bills were revealed by UK media.

The winning bill included 30 Magnums of Cristal, 20 Bottles of Dom Perignon, 20 Crack Baby shots, six Espresso Martinis, 10 shots of 18-year-old Glenmorangie whiskey, eight bottles of mineral water, seven bottles of 1998 vintage Krug champagne and two magnums of Belvedere vodka.

The other bill included 64 bottles of Dom Perignon at £325 each which came to £20,800 on its own. There were also 25 bottles of Crystal champagne, 16 of Armand de Brignac Ace of Spades champagne, 12 bottles of Dom Perignon Rose, 7 Mohitos, 10 bottles of Peroni, 20 cans of Red Bull, six Bellinis, six bottles of water, two bottle of Chivas 18-year-old whiskey, six bottles of Krug Grande Cuvee, and eight bottles of Belle Époque Rose.

"There was a massive crowd of stunning women around each table in no time at all, and frankly these guys needed some help drinking all this booze anyway," a clubber told The Telegraph. “At the end of the night there was loads of full bottles left, there's simply no way they could have drunk it all."

When the totals were added up after the three-hour cash splurge, those sitting at the winning table were seen jumping and waving their bill in the air.

The club, located in the exclusive Embassy venue, is co-owned by Mark Fuller and Serg Ivo, who features in Fox reality TV show 'Meet the Russians'. The owners say several Russian billionaires are among their clients.
