MOSCOW, October 13 (R-Sport) - Novak Djokovic retained his title at the Shanghai Masters tennis tournament Sunday, edging out Juan Martin Del Potro in the final.
The Serbian world No. 1 prevailed 6-1, 3-6, 7-6(3) after a two-and-a-half-hour duel with Argentina’s Del Potro to claim his 39th career ATP Tour title.
With two wins in Shanghai, Djokovic matches Andy Murray as the most successful player in the tournament’s history.
