BRYANSK, November 7 (RIA Novosti) – A one-legged man in the western Russian province of Bryansk beat his one-handed friend to death in a drunken dispute, investigators said Thursday.
The local office of the Investigative Committee said they found the body of a 53-year old man bearing the signs of a violent death in a house in Veliky Topal, a village near Russia’s border with Belarus and Ukraine.
“The victim was disabled. He was missing a hand and parts of his fingers on his other extremities,” investigators said in a statement.
Authorities described the suspected attacker as a 74-year old one-legged man.
They said the killing came after a heated argument following a heavy drinking session which culminated in the suspected perpetrator beating his victim to death with a metal crutch.
