MOSCOW, December 29 (RIA Novosti) – At least five people died in a fire at a building in northern Moscow on Sunday, according to a police source.
Firemen extinguished the blaze at the building near the capital’s Alekseyevskaya metro station, the source said, and the bodies of five victimes have been found.
The fire was the second in Moscow on Sunday, after a warehouse in the southeastern Biryulyovo district went up in flames in the early hours of the morning. Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry said the fire was extinguished at about 6 a.m. and that no one was hurt.
