NOVOKUZNETSK, February 10 (RIA Novosti) – A Russian man killed three people and set their home on fire after being insulted during a drunken quarrel in a small Siberian town, investigators said Monday.
The 25-year-old suspect stabbed to death the man and woman who occupied the house, as well as another man who was living with them, in an alcohol-fueled rage late on Saturday night, investigators in the city of Belovo said.
The suspect, who authorities said had a prior criminal record, then set the house ablaze and ran away. He was arrested hours later.
It was not clear from the investigators’ statement what insults had triggered the argument.
