MOSCOW, February 13 (RIA Novosti) – Russia’s state auditor said Wednesday it has uncovered more than 1 billion rubles ($28.7 million) worth of violations in the financial dealings of the state drug control service.
Anomalies detailed by the Accounts Chamber include 513 million rubles in federal property registration irregularities, 94 million rubles in violations of budget efficiency compliance and 55.1 million rubles in breach of the state budget code.
The inspection also found violations and deficiencies in drug control agency spending on information support, the statement said.
The Accounts Chamber said it has sent a report of its findings to the agency as well as parliament.
