On the last day of the XXII Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russian skiers achieved a major success by winning gold, silver and bronze medals in the 50km race. Alexander Legkov took gold. Maxim Vylegzhanin and Ilia Chernousov placed second and third, respectively.
