The Ukrainian parliament has appointed a new acting defense minister.

KIEV, March 25 (RIA Novosti) - The Ukrainian parliament has appointed a new acting defense minister.

The parliament approved Mykhail Koval for the position with a vote of 251 deputies out of the necessary 226.

The Ukrainian parliament relieved acting Defense Minister Ihor Tenyukha from duty following a second vote on Tuesday.
