The project for a new constitution for the Republic of Crimea should be prepared within two weeks, the first deputy speaker of Crimea's State Council said on Thursday.

SIMFEROPOL, March 27 (RIA Novosti) - The project for a new constitution for the Republic of Crimea should be prepared within two weeks, the first deputy speaker of Crimea's State Council said on Thursday.

"We have a very tight timeline, [Crimea] cannot last a long time without a constitution," Grigory Ioffe said during a council session. "The task is set to prepare the document within a two-week timeframe."
