MOSCOW, March 28 (RIA Novosti) - Russia has started the preparations for terminating bilateral agreements with Ukraine related to the status and operation of the Black Sea Fleet, a Kremlin spokesman said Friday.
The decision was made at a meeting of Russia's Security Council chaired by President Vladimir Putin.
According to spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the agreements to be scrapped include the 1997 Agreement on the Status and Conditions of the Russian Federation Black Sea Fleet's Stay on Ukrainian Territory, which was extended in 2010.
