MOSCOW, July 17 (RIA Novosti) - Ahead of Russia’s Navy Day on July 27, the International Information Agency Rossiya Segodnya will show photographs from its archive in the exhibition “Army and Navy of Russia” that will be held in Crimea from July 22 until August 4.
“The best pictures from the RIA Novosti photo archive will be presented at the ‘Army and Navy of Russia’ exhibition. There will be pictures devoted to World War II, a series of retrospective works and modern photography,” Rossiya Segodnya’s head of exhibition projects Ksenia Nikolskaya said Thursday.
In the center of the stage, Rossiya Segodnya photographers' works made during the military exercises, parades and arms exhibitions will be shown.
The opening ceremony will be held on July 22 in the Mikhailovskaya Batareya war history museum. It is expected that Rossiya Segodnya chief Dmitry Kiselev will attend the ceremony, along with representatives from the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
