DONETSK, July 22 (RIA Novosti) – A train carrying bodies from the Malaysian passenger plane crash in eastern Ukraine has arrived in Donetsk, the press service of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic said Tuesday.
“The train has arrived from Torez [near the crash site] to Donetsk. Here Malaysian experts are to examine it and after this it will travel to Kharkiv,” the statement said.
The first relatives of Malaysian plane crash victims could arrive in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv.
On Monday, Donetsk militia handed over to Malaysian experts two flight data recorders recovered from the crash site of the Boeing plane in eastern Ukraine.
Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 airliner en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur crashed near Donetsk on July 17. Malaysia has sent a group of experts to Ukraine to take part in a large-scale international investigation of the tragedy.
