MOSCOW, July 24 (RIA Novosti) – Algeria’s flagship air carrier, Air Algerie, said Thursday it had lost contact with one of its planes in Burkina Faso, Agence France-Presse reported.
"Air navigation services have lost contact with an Air Algerie plane Thursday flying from Ouagadougou to Algiers, 50 minutes after takeoff," the agency quoted the company as saying.
It is reported that at least 112 passengers were on board of the missing plane.
Air Algerie, founded 1947, is a state-owned airline that flies to 39 destinations in 28 countries.
