MOSCOW, August 8 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Children’s Rights Commissioner Pavel Astakhov will discuss human rights issues at the annual OSCE conference taking place in Warsaw this fall, the ombudsman’s press office said Friday.
“From September 22 to October 3 Warsaw will hold the annual Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe conference, which will be attended by The Children’s Rights Commissioner for the President of Russia Pavel Astakhov. The discussion of the issues aligned with the human rights and liberties defense commitments of the OSCE will be the conference’s key pillar,” Astakhov’s press service said.
On October 2, Astakhov will deliver a report on these topics at the conference. The Russian delegation will also include prominent public figures, representatives of nongovernmental organizations and religious associations.
