YALTA, August 14 (RIA Novosti) – Any initiative to amend the Russian constitution requires great caution and the opinion of the public and experts should be taken into account while doing so, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday.
“As far as constitutional amendments are concerned, you are aware of my opinion about this document. It requires a very careful approach. Every single case requires a study at the level of experts and the public. These questions should be worked out in a very accurate manner,” the president said at a meeting with State Duma lawmakers in the Crimean city of Yalta.
