MOSCOW, August 19 (RIA Novosti) - Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova ranked fifth in the Forbes list of the world's highest paid models, having earned $4 million in the past year, according to the publication.
Vodianova, 32, was behind highest-paid model Gisele Bundchen, 34, the Brazilian who has topped the list since 2002 and made $47 million in 2014, mostly from H&M, Chanel, Carolina Herrera, Pantene, and Oral-B advertisements, as well as from her own shoe and lingerie line.
Another Brazilian model, Adriana Lima, shared second place with Dutch model Doutzen Kroes, each earning $8 million. Both models are known for their work with Victoria’s Secret. Lima also works with Maybelline and Desigual, while Kroes represents L'Oreal, H&M, Emilio Pucci and Miu Miu.
Third place was split among four models – British Kate Moss, American Kate Upton, Australian Miranda Kerr and Chinese Liu Wen, who earned $7 million each.
Brazilian Alessandra Ambrosio and American Hilary Rhoda shared fourth place with $5 million each.
A mother of four, Vodianova heads a charity foundation called Naked Hearts, which has built 100 children's playgrounds and parks in Russia over the past 10 years.
