MOSCOW, August 22 (RIA Novosti) - The 6th Global Webit Congress – the most influential international event in electronic commerce and technology – will take place on October 1-2, 2014 in Halic Congress Center in Istanbul, Izvestia reports.
Over ten thousand specialists from 110 countries in the EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) will participate in the event. The congress will consist of two parallel zones: the Digital zone - Digital Marketing and Innovation Expo & Conference, and the Tech zone - The Leaders of the Future Tech Summit and Expo.
According to the congress' website, the event will be attended by top-ranking executives and specialists – CTOs, CIOs, CMOs, and the heads of the media departments of global and regional advertisers, financial institutions, retailers, etc.
The participants will be able to listen to 260 world-class specialists speak about mobile technology, electronic commerce, internet marketing and telecommunications. They will also be able to participate in discussion panels, meet prospective clients and investors, as well as present their own projects at the expo. Young web technologists and owners of digital startups will have the opportunity to expand their contacts and to improve the functionality of their businesses. For example, up to 200 startup companies will be able to obtain free exhibition space, 600 free tickets, and advertising space in the major media agencies of EMEA countries. Over 300 accredited journalists from the most influential specialized publications from various countries will be covering the event.
