Putin Reviews Details About Minsk Meeting With Poroshenko

President Putin has told the journalists about his talks with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko. The Bilateral meeting was held earlier in Minsk.

After the meeting Putin was ready to speak with the reporters. Talks between the presidents were very fruitful, Putin noted.  “Frankly speaking I am not sure how it all will end. In any case however we had an opportunity to state our concerns once again,” he said.

The meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko took place in Minsk and lasted for two hours. After that, Poroshenko planned on meeting with EU representatives in the Ukrainian embassy. EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton, the European Commission Vice-President in charge of energy, Guenther Oettinger, and the European Commissioner for Trade, Karel De Gucht, are among the participants of the Minsk meeting.

The two presidents back then spoke in favor of an immediate end to hostilities in Ukraine’s southeast, as well as combat actions on both sides of the conflict.
