MOSCOW, August 30 (RIA Novosti) - Apple will organize a media event on September 9, where, according to a series of reports, it is going to present its latest smartphones.
However, the electronics giant is keeping quiet about the official purpose of the event, which hasn’t been disclosed. “Wish we could say more,” Apple wrote in its invitations, refusing to comment on the issue.
Presumably, Apple will release two versions of the hotly anticipated iPhone 6, one with a 4.7” display and the other with a larger, 5.5” display; both displays will be made from ultra-strong sapphire glass, Forbes reports. Some analysts are also expecting to see the long-awaited “Smart” Apple iWatch – Apple’s first wearable device, which will contain multiple additional functions such as health and fitness sensors. The iWatch will allow users to cut down on the number of times they must remove electronic gadgets from their pockets and purses to use, appealing to joggers, cyclists, commuters and other people on the go.
The event will take place in Cupertino, California – home to Apple’s corporate headquarters.
