MOSCOW, September 4 (RIA Novosti) — A Russian team defeated Egypt in the second leg match of the FIVB men’s Championship in Poland on Wednesday, the newspaper Izvestia reports. The score was 3-0 (25:22, 25:15, 25:15).
In the first set, the Egyptians maintained some resistance and lost 22:15. Later on, however, the Russian team took the lead on the field. In the second set, the Egyptians were defeated 22:15. The third set ended with the same score and the Russian team easily defeated the Egyptians.
As a result, the Russian team hasn’t lost a game after two legs.
On September 5, Russia will play against Mexico.
