GROZNY, September 8 (RIA Novosti) - Thousands of refugees from the southeast of Ukraine, who settled in Russia, had to face a number of pressing issues, among them the employment at their new place of residence. A family from Donetsk that came to Russia’s Chechen Republic has dealed with this issue by relying on the intuition of a hostess who sheltered them. After learning that her new Ukrainian friend is a cosmetologist, the woman persuaded her to start her own business. In no time, Yana has become a popular cosmetologist in Grozny, opening a beauty parlor in one of the most prestigious locations of the city.
"I am very happy that I got here, in a short time I was able to solve the most important issue – to find a job. Now I feel confident, my fears have been left behind," Yana told a RIA Novosti correspondent. Most of all, she is glad that she was able to return to her hobby of making women beautiful.
"Women are the same everywhere: anywhere and at any age they want to be beautiful, and I share this joy with them, when I see their beaming smiles," Yana said. When new acquaintances learned of her profession, they began urging her to open an office.
"At first I couldn’t decide, I wasn’t certain, but when the fighting intensified at home, I realized that there is no place to come back to. I’ve got to work and settle in this new place," Yana said.
Her new friends and acquaintances hurried to solve all the organizational issues related to starting a new business. Yana already had contacts with suppliers of cosmetic products from Russia, so there were no problems with this matter.
"At first my clients were mainly those who were sent to me by friends, neighbors, relatives – all the people who genuinely wanted to help me. Now everything is fine, my clients are happy," Yana said. The new specialist has quickly become popular in the women's circle, and now Grozny beauties are ever willing to come to her parlor." Yana’s father was also assisted in finding a new job. He now works in the Berkat mall, while her daughter has gone to study at school in Grozny.
"I was particularly worried about the child, but my fears were in vain, thank God. My girl was well received by both her peers and her teachers. Even their parents are calling, inviting us to visit. When I see how happy she is to go to school, I truly rejoice," Yana said.
The girl has already managed to make new friends who help her get used to the new place.
