MOSCOW, September 13 (RIA Novosti) - The launch of the next SpaceX Dragon spacecraft to the International Space Station (ISS) has been scheduled for September 20, NASA said in a statement Saturday.
The fourth SpaceX cargo mission to the ISS will launch from space launch complex at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida at 2:16 a.m. local time [6:16 GMT]. The spacecraft will be launched into space by the company’s Falcon 9 rocket.
If for any reason the launch is postponed, the next launch will take place September 21 at approximately 1:53 a.m. local time (5:53 GMT).
The Dragon will take over 5,000 pounds of supplies to the ISS, including food and necessities as well as scientific experiments, for example a 3-D printer.
