STRASBOURG, September 29 (RIA Novosti), Daria Chernyshova - The leader of Ukraine's Batkivschyna Party Yulia Tymoshenko said Monday that she would support the pro-European forces of the Ukraine's new parliament, which is scheduled to be elected on October 26.
"I will no doubt stand with those pro-European democratic forces that will come to the new parliament to really change Ukraine," Tymoshenko said on the sidelines of PACE fall session.
Tymoshenko also expressed hope that the Ukraine's new parliament will have entirely new parliamentarians. "I hope that Ukraine's new Verkhovna Rada will have a principally new structure," Tymoshenko said, adding that there would be no traitors in the new parliament.
"There will be true Ukrainian Spartans who will embrace Ukraine's European path, way to NATO," Tymoshenko explained, adding that she also hopes that the new parliament would make new reforms "that Ukraine needs badly today."
PACE's fall session is underway in Strasbourg and will end on October 3. The Assembly will discuss the crisis in Ukraine, countering neo-Nazism and addressing Islamic State (IS) threats.
