RIGA, October 4 (RIA Novosti) - Latvian ruling Unity Party takes a lead in Latvian parliamentary elections with 23.8 percent of votes, Social Democratic Party Harmony (also referred to as Social Democratic Party Concord) currently stands in the second place with 21.6 percent of the votes, according to exit poll data.
Around 19.4 percent of Latvian voters supported the Union of Greens and Farmers agrarian political alliance comprising two parties. A poll was conducted by LNT broadcaster and Riga Stradins University, who questioned 6,000 voters across the country.
