MOSCOW, October 7 (RIA Novosti) – Russian political analysts who have created a large infographic dedicated to the 15 years Vladimir Putin has spent at the top of Russian politics, are seeking to enter the Guinness Book of records, one of the authors, Yuri Yakor told RIA Novosti on Tuesday.

The infographic is 41 feet in length. "To confirm the record, we have sent an application to the Guinness Book of Records," Yakor said.

The infographic, which will be sold in bookstores as a brochure, includes 550 Russian achievements. "We are talking about the Eurovision Song Contest, the Olympics, many other achievements... All the achievements are divided into seven main categories: culture, reputation, sport, science, economics, international relations, and domestic politics," the analyst said. "We decided to do this because we have constant growth here in Russia, but we do not really notice it against a background of stability, so it is important [for us] to demonstrate it."

On Tuesday, October 7, the Russian president celebrates his 62nd birthday. According to presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the president took the day off and flew "over to Siberia, to the Siberian taiga, 300 to 400 kilometers away from the nearest town or village, where he will relax on his birthday."

No official meetings were planned for Russian leader's birthday.
