MOSCOW, October 7 (RIA Novosti) – Two Ryanair planes have clipped each other while taxiing to a runway at Dublin airport on Tuesday, the Irish Times reports.
Both planes were taxiing to the runway, when one of the planes crashed into the other, ripping off the top of its wing horn, the Daily Mail reported.
“It was almost like going over a pothole in a car”, one of the passengers said. “Then it went silent and the plane rocked for a couple of seconds”, he added, as quoted by the Irish Times.
Emergency services were quickly called to the airport, while flights were temporary grounded. However, the airport is now fully operational, with some “minor” delays to some flights, a spokesperson for the Dublin airport told RTE News.
No passengers were injured.
The spokesman further added that both planes will be repaired and return to service shortly. Ryanair apologizes to customers for any inconvenience, RTE reports.
