MOSCOW, October 9 (RIA Novosti) — More than 20,000 fans have already visited the Sochi Autodrome, where the first race of the Russian stage of the Formula 1 championship race will take place on Sunday, the press service of the Autodrome stated on Thursday.
On Thursday, the Sochi Autodrome was open to fans, and all ticket holders of the Grand Prix had the opportunity to take a stroll around the track and get autographs from the drivers.
Russia's first ever Grand Prix will be held at the Sochi racetrack between October 10-12.
The circuit is 5.852 km (3,636 miles) long and comprises 19 bends. The maximum speed which can be achieved on the track is 320 km/h (199 mph).
